Henry Lawson Reserve design
With tunnel fit out between Victoria Cross and Barangaroo Stations via the Blues Point access site now complete, Sydney Metro will soon begin work to backfill the shaft, remove the acoustic shed before Christmas 2021 and prepare Henry Lawson Reserve for reinstatement in 2022.

About the site
A temporary retrieval site was required for the removal of the tunnel boring machine (TBM) cutterheads and shields at Henry Lawson Reserve. The site is currently being used as an access point for tunnel fit out activity between the new Sydney Metro Barangaroo and Victoria Cross stations.
Once work in the area is completed, the parkland will be reinstated in consultation with North Sydney Council and the community.

- Delivery of materials and equipment for tunnel fit out.
The temporary site is located at Henry Lawson Reserve, McMahons Point, with access via Blues Point Road (left-in and left-out).
