Schools near the Sydney Metro rail alignment are invited to participate in a unique, cutting edge professional learning opportunity designed and facilitated by Western Sydney University in partnership with Sydney Metro.
This is the second time that Sydney Metro is offering this opportunity as part of its award-winning education program FastTracking the Future.
Teachers who participate will develop expertise in the development of high quality, inquiry based learning units of work focusing on aspects of Sydney Metro. This opportunity is supported by Sydney Metro and places are limited. The course will be offered three times during 2021, schools can register their interest.
A total of 34 teachers from 12 schools have previously completed the program and 15 teaching units were created. The free resources are available to all teachers via the NSW Department of Education and can be also found on the Resources for Teachers page.
