All aboard STEAM workshop
Ideal for school aged children between 5 and 12 years this September the workshops will be focused on STEAM based activities.
Steam trains were one of the great innovations of the past and changed the way we travelled and interacted, today STEAM in education is all about the future and helping our children be creative, innovative and problem solvers. STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics.

Minecraft
The Minecraft workshops are a two hour session for students aged 7 to12 years taking their first steps with game design and development.
Students will design and construct a 3D virtual railway station while exploring and connecting mathematical concepts, as well as choosing and applying problem-solving skills. Sydney Metro hosts various Minecraft sessions throughout the school holidays. It is recommend that students take their own laptop to use at this workshop. This is so students can save their work and continue building on their virtual station at home. Please see below for our latest sessions time and dates.
Minecraft workshops have now filled up for the October school holidays. To keep up to date with all of our school holiday programs, please sign up to our newsletter: sydneymetro.info/education/get-involved
