Martin Place CBD closures

Parts of the Sydney CBD at Martin Place have been closed after a high pressure gas main was struck during utility works at the site of the new Martin Place metro station.

 

Safety is our number one priority and an investigation is underway.

No one was injured and we’re sorry for any inconvenience that was caused.

Our contractors’ community engagement team has been in contact with more than 1,800 residents, businesses and building managers in the area and we’ve been working closely with emergency services.
