Explore Australia’s biggest public infrastructure project through Sydney Metro’s education program - FastTracking the Future.
Our award-winning program provides authentic learning experiences linked to the planning, development, construction and operation of Sydney Metro, Australia’s first fully-automated rail network for schools near its City & Southwest, West and Western Sydney railway alignments.
The program is targeted at teachers so to get involved, ask your teacher to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. The program has more than 150 classroom-ready resources including unit plans and lessons for Kindergarten to Year 10 students.
Students can also get involved by participating in our school holiday program (primary school-aged) or learn coding through Sydney Metro’s Fun with Robots incursion for Years 3 to 6. For Year 7 to 10 students, get a team together and join our school’s competition Metro Minds STEAM Challenge to meet our experts working on the project.
