Sydney Metro Southwest - Community Open Day at Dulwich Hill Station
09.08.2026
Join us for a community first look at the transformed Dulwich Hill Station and discover how Sydney Metro will revolutionise travel across Sydney. As part of the Sydney Metro City & Southwest project, the upgraded station will provide faster, more accessible and better connected journeys for thousands of passengers every day. Once services commence, customers will be able to travel from Dulwich Hill to Victoria Cross in Sydney's north, in around 21 minutes.
Before metro services begin later this year, the community is invited to step inside the station and take a self-guided tour and experience a range of new metro features, including platform screen doors, improved accessibility, enhanced customer information and communication systems, new station entrances, upgraded canopies, a covered concourse with lifts and stairs, and public artwork inspired by the local area.
Outside the station, the festivities continue with a range of free, family-friendly activities and entertainment for all ages. Enjoy live cultural performances, sustainable arts and craft activities, and storytime sessions or bring your bike along for a complimentary tune-up from the Active Transport team. Visitors can also explore interactive displays, learn more about the project and upcoming metro services, and chat with the team delivering Australia's largest public transport project.
Don't miss this unique opportunity to be among the first to tour the Dulwich Hill Station before it opens as part of the Sydney Metro network.
This is a family-friendly event.
