Sydney Metro is undertaking early planning for a preferred location for a services facility in Lilyfield. The facility will be used for fresh air tunnel ventilation and an emergency access facility for the electric railway between Five Dock and the Bays.
Sydney Metro will seek formal approval for the facility early this year. This process will include the opportunity for the community to provide feedback.
